The reason we remember those previous three goals is because they captured the Cup.<br /><br />Had Dallas lost, Hull's foot wouldn't have been an issue.<br /><br />Had Detroit lost, McCarty has a great goal, but it's not as spectacular.<br /><br />Had Pittsburgh lost, Lemieux's effort gets remembered, but is it as iconic?<br /><br />Those are the comparisons for Ryan's goal.
