The Hockey Show - Episode Eighty-Two

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced hockey radio show, is back tonight with yet another giveaway and another special guest! We'll be talking about interior decorating, and that's something both Beans and I probably have little expertise on in any manner. We both would appreciate building a hockey fan cave, though, where we could crash and watch the game on a 3000" TV with a few cold one. Lucky, we have an expert in both interior design and hockey fan caves coming in tonight!

We will be joined by Mr. Ron Hermann tonight, as seen to the left, as his business, Budget Blinds located in Winnipeg, has worked with Shade O' Matic to build a Hockey Fan Cave at the Winnipeg Home Expressions Show held April 4 through April 6 at the RBC Convention Centre! Jackie Morra, the builder with Shade O' Matic, has created a 2400 square-foot feature that includes a 1000 square-foot "hockey fan cave" with an additional 1200 square-foot synthetic ice rink outside where visitors to the Winnipeg Home Expressions Show can skate! The fan cave is customized for Winnipeg Jets fans, and features the Original Six teams and the Jets all over the place! Ron's business, Budget Blinds, is providing all the NHL-themed shades that you'll see at the event! You can even score a gift bag from these great companies at the Home Expressions Show!

We'll talk to Ron Hermann tonight about the event, his business, the NHL, the Jets, other hockey stories, and more on The Hockey Show, and we'll give away a pair of tickets to Saturday's Winnipeg Home Expressions Show! You can win these by listening in at 5:30pm on 101.5 UMFM or on www.umfm.com and calling when prompted! Call us at (204) 269-8636 for your chance to win! As always, we're live-tweeting through @TeebzHBIC, so find us there too!

PODCAST: APRIL 3, 2014: Episode 82 - sadly, Mr. Hermann never made it to the show. However, the show must go on!

Until next time, keep your sticks on the ice!
