The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced hockey radio show, is clearing the agenda for one major purpose today. This is a milestone show, folks! Welcome to SHOW #100!
Tonight's all about having fun. We're going to offer up prizes, we're going to talk some hockey, and we're going to get ready for The Hockey Show's birthday show and Pledge-O-Rama today! Amongst the hockey topics we'll bring up will be the Don Cherry auction snafu, the Wayne Gretzky ultimatum to golfer Dustin Johnson, how Teemu Selanne will make oodles of cash for just playing home games, the new Stadium Series game booked for Levi's Stadium, a former Jets coach gets hired in Regina, and much, much more.
We're going to suspend 3 Rounds Deep tonight as we take calls for prizes, but you're welcome to weigh in on any of the topics or anything else going on in hockey! We're on the air at 5:30pm tonight, so it us up at 101.5 UMFM on your radio dial in the Winnipeg region or you can listen live between 5:30pm and 6:30pm CT on your web-enabled device at the UMFM webpage! You can reach us at (204) 269-UMFM (268-8636)by phone for some chatter or to win prizes! We're on the @TeebzHBIC on the Twitter machine so feel free to buzz us there, and you can also post some stuff to Facebook if you use the "Like" feature, and I always have crazy stuff posted there that doesn't make it to the blog or show.
We have lots going on tonight, so join us for historic show #100!
