The Hockey Show - Episode 142

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced hockey radio show, is back with a jam-packed show as we have a pile of stuff to wade through having had a number of interviews of the last few weeks. Honestly, there were some great people on the show recently as we spoke with Jared Aulin, Mark Greczmiel, Brandon and Jessica Reid, and Emilie Blum during that time. We found out all sorts of information from them regarding their individual situations, and we'll be talking about one of these people on tonight's show!

There is a pile of news pouring out of the hockey world, so we'll dig through these tonight. Obviously, the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs are underway with Chicago winning 2-1 last night in Game One. We'll talk about that game and our predictions for the series. We'll talk about the Mats Zuccarello injury and whether or not he's insane for trying to come back for training camp after such an injury. We'll chat about the impending decisions the Jets may have to make regarding personnel and their glut of solid young talent coming up. We'll dive into the AHL as we talk about the Calder Cup Finals, Maxime Fortunus being cut loose by the Stars, and how everyone out there can watch the Calder Cup Finals FOR FREE! There will be talk about the Oshawa Generals who won the Memorial Cup, some rapid fire as we figure out which new coaches fit well with their new teams, USA Hockey hiring a new bench boss for their World Junior team, some women's hockey news, and some odds and ends with some fun stuff and a few plugs!
