The Hockey Show - Episode 337

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, is back tonight with a fun show that will feature a guest who knows way more about design and colours than we do. It's not often we sit around and chat about uniforms on this show as we normally try to dig into deeper topics, but tonight will feature a healthy segment on new alternate jerseys and other threads seen this season in the NHL because our guest usually is illustrating them!

Tonight, The Hockey Show is proud, honoured, privileged, and humbled to welcome Rob Ullman back to the show! This Rob's third appearance on the show - November 7, 2013 and October 19, 2017 were his other shows - and we have all sorts of discussion points to go over. They include Rob's thoughts on the Seattle NHL expansion team when it comes to name, colours, and adding a 32nd team to the league, some of the new alternate jerseys seen in the league, the uniforms worn at the Stadium Series and Winter Classic, and if the league should consider splitting the season with regards to home jerseys. We'll also chat about the Carolina Hurricanes and their post-game celebrations, retiring numbers versus honouring numbers and Rob's thoughts on Jarome Iginla's career that included a brief stop in Pittsburgh, and we'll talk about whether or not Gritty is the most famous mascot in history! There's lots to talk about with Rob, and we'll promote his incredible artistry through his website as well! Make sure you tune in at 5:30pm CT tonight!

The new UMFM website's online streaming player is pretty awesome. If you're using an Apple device, the player doesn't seem to like Safari yet, but we highly recommend you use the TuneIn app found on the App Store or perhaps another browser. If you do use the TuneIn app, you won't be disappointed. It's a solid app.
