The Hockey Show - Episode 409

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, is back tonight to tackle the biggest elephant in the room known as the NHL Restart. Yes, it's happening and there seems to be nothing that will derail those plans at this point, but is the NHL's bubble around the hub city arenas as secure as it should be? We'll take a look at some of the potential issues tonight before getting into predictions on who wins the play-in games!

Teebz is joined by Jason Pchajek in looking at the NHL restart plan as laid out by the NHL along with some of the pitfalls where the NHL may be less secure than one had hoped. With COVID-19 numbers going up in both Edmonton and Toronto, these rules may need to be tightened up somewhat, so we'll go through everything the NHL proposed to players and hub cities regarding their visits. We also talk about fan gatherings and how that may be a risk, we discuss all eight play-in series and pick winners, and we have a quick chat about if and/or when the Chicago Blackhawks should be following the leads of other pro sports franchises and reviewing their logo.
