Off The Record

I have been far too busy at work today to get anything of note compiled on this blog, so I'm running with a video entry today. TSN's programming has a large number of hockey games included, but some of the best hockey moments come courtesy of Michael Landsberg on his show, Off The Record. It's a zany talk show that normally has some fun guests on it, but the best part is "Next Question" where Landsberg asks questions in rapid-fire fashion to a guest.

Here are some of the hockey guests he has victimized, and some of their funny, unscripted answers to those questions.

Jordan Staal of the Pittsburgh Penguins

Eric Staal of the Carolina Hurricanes

How about Eric and Jordan Staal?

Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals

Jeremy Roenick of, at the time, the San Jose Sharks

Landsberg has literally interviewed hundreds of hockey personalities, and you can catch a pile of them by clicking here. I'm a big fan of these "off the wall" questions, and the answers that the players give. You can totally see which players like to have fun with the answers.

I'm off to bed in a few moments as I have another long, busy day tomorrow. With Bob Gainey stepping down from his General Manager's position today, it will be interesting to see what happens going forward with the Montreal Canadiens, specifically in regards to who will survive the trade deadline.

Until next time, keep your sticks on the ice!
