The Hockey Show - Episode 682

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, returns to the airwaves tonight with a pile of hockey news to discuss and dissect. The Jets are in Philadelphia, the Moose are on their way to Grand Rapids, the Wheat Kings are in Regina, and our hosts are in the UMFM studios for tonight's show. None of that is on the agenda for tonight, though, as there are stories of futility, poor naming choices, and a national broadcast debut for one of our hosts! All of that and more will be discussed tonight on The Hockey Show at 5:30pm CT!

On the docket for discussion tonight, Teebz and Jason will look at the new home scoreless drought for the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden and why their stats may be somewhat misleading, there are two mascots who were introduced to the world this week and both got names that are somewhat disappointing, the Savannah Ghost Pirates are doing a questionable theme night all year long, there's another NCAA school starting hockey programs, the NHL wants to expand its efforts to grow the game outside North America despite it doing well, and one of our two hosts will be calling a hockey broadcast on CBC this weekend! There's a ton of stuff to go over in the hour we have, so make sure you're ready to roll tonight for The Hockey Show at 5:30pm CT on one of 101.5 FM, Channel 718 on MTS TV, or via UMFM.com!
