The Hockey Show - Episode Sixty-Five
The Hockey Show rolls back onto the air tonight at 5:30pm CT on 101.5 UMFM with a change. We had originally booked Friend of the Show Jared Keeso for tonight's show, but he's actually filming a TV show right now and his filming schedule changed. Therefore, he will not be joining us tonight. I am a little disappointed, but Jared's a good sport and he'll be back on in January for sure.
So with that announcement, we turn to the latest news in the hockey world. We're run down the Jets' recent games, we'll talk about how the University of Manitoba Bisons capped off their first-half schedules, and we'll definitely be discussing the newly-crowned highest-paid goalie in the NHL in Henrik Lundqvist. With Anaheim and Los Angeles showing off their Stadium Series uniforms, we'll have a chat about those duds (literally and figuratively) as the Ducks and Kings prepare to square off in Dodger Stadium.
Depending on time, we'll promo next week's Secret Santa show, and we'll try to squeeze in some chatter on NHL teams preventing junior-aged players from going to the World Junior Championships. There should be some spirited debate on that front, so join us tonight at 5:30pm CT on 101.5 UMFM for The Hockey Show! We'll be taking calls at 204-269-UMFM (8636) and watching the Twitter feed on @TeebzHBIC! Tune in for some great hockey chatter tonight!
Until next time, keep your sticks on the ice!
