The Hockey Show - Episode 685

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, jumps back into the studio tonight after an incredible interview with Pittsburgh's Dave Molinari last week. It's always fun speaking with people who are far more knowledgeable about subjects than we are, and that will only continue this month as we have more interviews coming up! Tonight, however, our hosts are back to chatting about hockey news stories from the last week and a bit, so get ready for a pile of hockey noise, laughter, and opinions from the UMFM studios tonight on The Hockey Show at 5:30pm CT!

Tonight, Teebz and Jason are going to follow the money for the big story they discuss as Ottawa Senators forward Arthur Kaliyev has come under fire for his specific spending habits that got himself and his former girlfriend in trouble. This is a crazy story of how money corrupts, but it's a good example of why young players need financial guidance. Beyond that story, our hosts will chat about Dallas getting another outdoor game in 2027, ESPN and Sports Illustrated failing to read the room, Alexander Ovechkin setting a new milestone, the KHL banning a referee for life, the two PWHL expansion teams get names, a new painting will remind Winnipeggers of its hockey history, and there's a big announcment about next week's show!
