The Hockey Show - Episode 629

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, returns to the UMFM airwaves tonight with all sorts of hockey stories thanks to teams and seasons getting back into action! The NHL season has started, the university hockey season has started, minor-league hockey isn't far off, European hockey is rolling along, and we have a pile of stories to go over from this past week of action! There was also a lot of history made in the first few days of the NHL season, and we'll go over some of those moments as they factored into the games being played. Between all the Canada West action, NHL action, and some of the storylines, it seems we're in for another busy show tonight on The Hockey Show at 5:30pm CT!

While there won't be any hugging between our hosts, Teebz and Jason will break into a pile of stories tonight such as the Canada West opening weekend of action, the Jets laying the smackdown on the Oilers, the Canadiens shutting out the Maple Leafs, Jessica Campbell's historic moment, Utah's concessions sales go wild, Igor Shesterkin declines a bank vault of money, the weekly Rhyah Stewart update, and a former U SPORTS goalie lands in a city where we have eyes! There are some interesting tidbits of information in the stories tonight, so you may want to listen closely as Teebz and Jason go through the details. It will be a fast-paced show as they work through all these stories tonight on The Hockey Show at 5:30pm CT on one of 101.5 FM, Channel 718 on MTS TV, or via UMFM.com!
