The Hockey Show - Episode Ninety-One

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced hockey radio show, returns tonight to chat some more hockey! It's championship season in both the NHL and AHL so you know we're going to talk about that, but we'll probably get into other craziness as well. After all, we have a pile of Survivor: NHL PLayoffs interviews to do, so we'll kick the show off with those!

Teebz and Beans will open the show with as many of the six people who have been eliminated in the previous rounds doing their interviews. We'll try to get them on live so we have a little back-and-forth with each eliminated entrant. We'll also chat about the Stanley Cup Final that started last night and the Calder Cup Final that will begin on Sunday, focusing on the IceCaps and those players who could be appearing in a Winnipeg Jets uniform next season full-time.

With the Calder Cup Final featuring two teams with former Manitoba Moose players, 3 Rounds Deep tonight will let Beans and I discuss the best Manitoba Moose players in that franchise's history. There are a lot of players that could be considered for this discussion, so this one will be very interesting. I have my favorites and I'm sure Beans will have his, so tune in to hear who we think were the best Moose players while that franchise called Winnipeg home!

It should be noted that Alain Vigneault and Scott Arniel, both coaching the New York Rangers, are former Moose coaches, and Randy Carlyle, another former Moose coach, has already won a Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks. Needless to say, the coaches that the Moose employed have gone on to excellent futures after spending time in Winnipeg as well!
