The Hockey Show - Episode 216

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced hockey radio show, returns tonight with an all-USports women's hockey show! Ok, it's actually more Manitoba Bisons than anything else, but TJ and I sit down with four members of the #6-ranked Manitoba Bisons and talk about the first ten games of the season with them! The Bisons are off and running with a 7-2-1-0 record, but suffered two losses at the hands of the top-ranked team in the country in the UBC Thunderbirds and trail the T-Birds by two points in the standings. We'll talk to the ladies about this new-found rivalry with the left coast team and how they plan on overcoming what could be the biggest hurdle in their quest for a USports Championship!

Tonight on the show, we welcome the Justice League of America four ladies above as Karissa Kirkup, Alana Serhan, Charity Price, and Rachel Dyck drop by the studio for a chat about their season thus far. We'll talk to them about the UBC weekend, why they've been so successful, and more as we meet these four instrumental players in the Bisons' success to date. From there, we'll chat about what they thought about having a member of the broadcast team between the benches for games, the new kids on the team and how they're faring, and we'll have some fun with some interview questions answered by one of these women from a major media outlet that we'll pose to the remaining three. There's a lot to talk about with Kirkup, Serhan, Price, and Dyck, so tune in tonight for some fun!
