The Hockey Show - Episode 400

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, returns tonight as we cross another major milestone in hitting show #400! It's amazing to think we've been doing this weekly show for eight years now, and I'll run through a number of names of guests who appeared on our show, a few clips from interviews, and I have a special interview in the second-half of the show with a woman who might just have one of the coolest jobs in the world! You'll want to tune in for this one!

Tonight, Teebz sits down with Lisa Ferkul, Director of Hockey Sponsorships for Scotiabank, to talk about Hockey24, the amazing documentary produced by Scotiabank and The Mark that will air on Rogers Sportsnet on Sunday, May 24 at 7pm ET! Lisa gives us some insight on Hockey24, some of the work she does in her daily routine, her work with the Winnipeg Jets, and gives some background on a number of grassroots initiatives that Scotiabank is involved with when it comes to hockey. Wanna know where the next Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada is being held? You may want to listen from 6:00-6:30 tonight for that info! In the first half of the show, Teebz celebrates Episode #400 with some part interviews that have been done with names like Sean Pronger, James Duthie, and Jeremy Allingham that were entertaining! All of this happens tonight at 5:30pm CT on 101.5 UMFM!

Where's the best place can you hear the show if you're outside Winnipeg or not near a radio, you ask? The new UMFM website's online streaming player is pretty awesome if you want to listen online. If you're using an Apple device, the player doesn't seem to like Safari yet, but we highly recommend you use the TuneIn app found on the App Store or perhaps another browser. If you do use the TuneIn app, you won't be disappointed. It's a solid app.
