The Hockey Show - Episode 569

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, fills the airwaves and internet streams tonight with some hockey goodness as Jason's back, Teebz is gearing up, and we have a number of stories to discuss. After the incredible interview given by Carla MacLeod last week, it might seem like the show lost a little of its gusto, but there have been a pile of stories from all sorts of places in the hockey world that do need a little discussing. Whether it be Edmonton, Denver, Sunrise, Raleigh, Moscow, Rockford, Prague, or Ostrava, there will be a number of cities, teams, and places mentioned tonight on the program, and we'll bring you all the news, stories, and more at 5:30pm CT!

I'll be honest: there are no Philadelphia Flyers stories today. I just find Stormtroopers being Flyers fans funny. In any case, Teebz and Jason will break down the new deal for the Carolina Hurricanes that sees them get rewarded for spending money, the IIHF's ruling in the Ivan Fedotov case, the Florida Panthers holding theme nights with one specific night on the calendar, the Coyotes eying another potential arena spot, the QMJHL banning fighting, Union College changing its name, the 2024 IIHF World Championship costs if you want to attend, NHL '24 getting a new cover athlete, a very odd Jason Gregor clip about a new sports station in Edmonton, U SPORTS signings and news, and whatever else we can squeeze into the hour.
