The Hockey Show - Episode 415

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, is back tonight with an interview I had been trying to set up for weeks, but the schedules and timing never seemed to work out. That changed this week, though, when I finally connected with her! She has NCAA experience, Canada West experience, radio experience, and has done a pile of other stuff that we examine on this week's episode of the The Hockey Show!

My guest is the woman to the left who played with the Mount Royal Cougars as I welcome Kenzie Menzak to the show! Kenzie's played all over the place and with and against some pretty big names, so I needed to get her on the show! I talk to Kenzie about growing up in Lethbridge, playing with the Plattsburgh State Cardinals, joining the Bemidji State Beavers, coming home to Alberta where she joined the Mount Royal Cougars, became an equipment manager and broadcaster for the Cougars, broadcasting for the Lethbridge Pronghorns, and getting her big break on 660NEWS AM in Calgary as a radio news anchor! There are a ton of laughs, some great insight into Kenzie's career, and great reflection on one of the most unique hockey careers to have been on this program!
