The Hockey Show - Episode 419

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, returns tonight as Teebz and Jenna get to welcome another great guest to the show! We're always thrilled to meet new people, and our guest today played for a number of exceptional teams prior to reaching the NCAA as a Division-1 defender! She did all sorts of things in the NCAA that should be recognized, but she's back in Winnipeg now where she's coaching and passing on her knowledge to younger players who have the same dreams she once had! You may not know her name prior to this episode, but you might want to seek her out for her coaching after the show!

Tonight, Teebz and Jenna welcome former University of Connecticut Huskies defender Jessica Stott to the show! Jessica grew up in Niverville before playing with the Eastman Selects, Balmoral Hall Blazers, and Shaftesbury High School Titans before making the leap to the Huskies at the NCAA Division-1 level! She was named Rookie of the Year at UConn, received the Unsung Hero Award, and was the captain of the Huskies in her final season, so she's definitely shown her skills on NCAA ice! She also played a season of pro hockey in Austria, and she's now working as an instructor and coach with Vigier Hockey! We'll get all the details on Jessica's outstanding career tonight at 5:30pm CT on 101.5 FM, Channel 718 on MTS TV, and on UMFM.com!
