Building An Electronic Library
Man, it's a hot one. Like seven inches from the midday sun. I'm not here to serenade anyone with Carlos Santana's hit song Smooth, but it's more a commentary on the hot and humid weather that we're feeling here at HBIC Headquarters. The air conditioner is working hard today to keep things cool, and I've admittedly retired to the basement for most of the day where the cool air lingers for longer than in other parts of the house. In doing so, I've been looking for things to do, and I found myself busy in amassing a stack of hockey e-books while hiding from the heat today!
I'll admit that I do love a physical book over an e-book on most days, but the cost of books can begin to get pricey if one is building a collection. Being that I have a fairly large collection of bound hockey books, I do know there are books I haven't read that need to be added to that collection, but my earnings and savings have been invested in renovations on HBIC Headquarters. Because of this, I've picked up my e-reader once more in order to fill the void of needing some new reading material!
I spent the day looking through the Z-Library where there are hundreds upon hundreds of e-books available for download and/or reading. I assure you that this website has provided me no benefits nor payment for this article, so I need to state that this website is being mentioned entirely because I found value in it. Having spent a few hours downloading e-books, I guarantee there's something here to tickle one's fancy when it comes to reading.
Among the great titles they have listed are:
Most of the books I linked above are ones of which I have the physical copies, so I feel fairly confident in recommending those titles to you based on what I already know about the books. I do recommend exploring the Z-Library site for hockey titles or any other books that may be of interest to you.
Whether you're looking for the classics from authors such as William Shakespeare, Bernard Shaw, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, or Jane Austen or you've come looking for more contemporary titles from authors such as Michael Crichton, Stephen King, Tom Clancy, or Margaret Atwood, there's something for everyone in the Z-Library where copies of books are always on the shelf!
Happy reading, folks!
Until next time, keep your sticks on the ice!
