The Hockey Show - Episode 594

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, jumps back on the radio waves and internet streams tonight with another big show where some serious topics will be discussed at length. One of those will be a step forward in a topic we've unfortunately spoken about way too often, and another where we've spoken more than we care to, but will be forced to do so once again. Those two topics will likely eat up a lot of time on today's program, but they are stories we can't ignore as people who want to see this game get better. In other words, get buckled in for more drama tonight on The Hockey Show at 5:30pm CT!

Based on the image to the left, settle in as Teebz and Jason tackled the 2018 Hockey Canada saga once again thanks to the London Police Service's press conference on Monday. They'll chat about what was said, what wasn't said, why things couldn't be said, the implications on those players' teams in the NHL, the implications for other players not charged with crimes, and what we know about those charges. There's also going to be a discussion about the Arizona Coyotes and how they seemingly are out of time to convince anyone that they're building an arena somewhere inside the borders of Arizona, the NHLPA's reaction to Arizona's situation, why Bettman is saying very little other than positive words, and what the fallout may be. There may also be some quick hits if time allows as the hosts look at the 2025 Winter Classic announcement, the two major trades coming out of the All-Star weekend, Friend of the Show Savannah Harmon's night at the PWHL Showcase, a Melbourne Moment, a couple of announcements, and more!
