The Hockey Show - Episode Twenty-Six

The Hockey Show breaks its cardinal rule tonight as we have a show dedicated to the Toronto Maple Leafs! Normally, Beans and I wouldn't have anything to do with talking about the Leafs, but it's hard to ignore them after they posted their best start since the previous lockout, vaulting them into fifth-place in the Eastern Conference and just two points behind the conference-leading Montreal Canadiens. Say what you want about the Leafs, but they are winning games this season and appear to be on their way to participating in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2003-04.

The Hockey Show welcomes friend of the show and long-time Maple Leafs fan Stu Eckert to the program tonight, and we'll ask him some tough questions about the Leafs. As usual, Beans and I will make a few jokes about the Leafs, but it will be insightful to hear comments from a guy who has been through both the lean Ballard years and the lean Burke years. We're looking forward to the show tonight, so tune in tonight at 6pm CT on 101.5 UMFM!
