The Hockey Show - Episode 411

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, is back tonight to chat all things happening in the bubble with the eight teams playing in the play-in round for the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs! Joined by Jason Pchajek, host of UMFM's Let's Talk About..., Teebz and Jason put the play-in round under a microscope for an examination of the eight series currently working to determine who will play for Lord Stanley's chalice and who has a shot at drafting Alexis Lafreniere!

Teebz and Jason dive in and talk about why the Oilers are losing to the Blackhawks in their series, why the Arizona Coyotes have surprised the Nashville Predators, why the Wild might take advantage of being underappreciated against the Canucks, and whether or not the Jets can weather the firestorm they're in against the Flames. In the eastern bubble, the gents agree that there's a simple reason why the Canadiens are up on the Penguins, the dangerous Hurricanes eliminating the New York Rangers, why the Panthers seem to be in tough against the Islanders, and why Toronto and Columbus is a tale of two styles of play. We finish with Jason's thoughts on John Chayka and the Coyotes, his approval of the Seattle Kraken, and I end the show with a special message for listeners.
