The Hockey Show - Episode 499

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, is not in-studio tonight thanks to "Snowmageddon 2022" that may or may not have arrived in the city. With the university closed through the weekend, Teebz and Jenna will return to their Zoom-based edition of The Hockey Show tonight as we wait for streets to be cleared, sidewalks to be shovelled, and all that good stuff that winter has dumped on spring. It doesn't change the show's format or craziness, though, as the two hosts have another busy show tonight!

Get settled in as Teebz and Jenna go over all the major news stories such as the PWHPA-PHF split, why Auston Matthews' 50 goals in 50 games might be blown out of proportion, the Arizona Coyotes trying to win over Tempe city councillors, what Swedish players left behind in the KHL, the SDHL's final and awards, IIHF women's hockey news, Canada West women's hockey news, a little contest we call Survivor: NHL Playoffs, and much more! Where's the best place can you hear tonight's show if you're outside Winnipeg or not near a radio, you ask? The new UMFM website's online streaming player is pretty awesome if you want to listen online. If you're using an Apple device, the player doesn't seem to like Safari yet, so if you want to stream the show I'd recommend Radio Garden to do that as it works nicely with Safari. If you're more of an app person, we recommend you use the TuneIn app found on the App Store or Google Play Store. If you do use the TuneIn app, you won't be disappointed. It's a solid app.
