The Hockey Show - Episode 525

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, hits the ground running as Teebz and Jason welcome a special guest to the show! This preview is a little late today with me being on the road, but we've been privy to a number of amazing players who have played at the Female World Sport School Challenge over the years of covering that great tournament and one of those teams that always seems to come into Winnipeg and play well is the Thunder Bay Queens! Tonight's guest is a graduate from that program as she's since moved on to bigger and better in the WCHA with Minnesota State-Mankato as she helps the Mavericks search for an NCAA Women's Hockey Championship!

Tonight, Teebz and Jason sit down with Minnesota State-Mankato forward Alexis Paddington and chat with her about hockey, growing up in Thunder Bay, moving to Minnesota, and more! We gets details from Alexis on growing up and playing every sport under the sun, playing hockey with the Thunder Bay Queens U18 AA Sportop program and her successes there, being recruited by Minnesota State, making the move to Mankato, some of the great things about playing for the Mavericks, career highlights that she's established so far, and we ask her about starring in musical theatre and plans for the future once she's done school! We're excited to chat with Alexis, and this is an interview you don't want to miss as Alexis Paddington should be a name on your radar for future Canadian national teams!
