The Hockey Show - Episode 526

The Hockey Show, Canada's only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey, is back tonight with our regular discussion of all things hockey. After a great interview with Alexis Paddington last week, we move back to the topics that have embraced the hockey world for the last few months - Hockey Canada madness, hockey players doing bad things, and more. We were told repeatedly that the hockey culture was fine as per Hockey Canada, but we'll illustrate why this is wrong entirely once again. There are some good stories to end with, though, so don't get too down by the majority of the show!

As much as Teebz and Jason want to talk about good, fun hockey stories, there's still a lot to go through from the Hockey Canada saga that may finally be turning a corner as our hosts will discuss the new findings, the fallout from two weeks ago, and figure out what's next for the barely-standing organization. From there, Teebz and Jason look at a new allegation from London, Ontario, a rather insane incident in the NAHL, an AHL employee relieved of duties, an NHL defenceman who was investigated, an NHL winger who is named in another lawsuit, the AJHL making an announcement despite itself, an NHL player taking some time away from the game, and the NHL Diversity Report was released that needs to be examined. All of this will hopefully fit into the hour that Teebz and Jason have tonight on The Hockey Show at 5:30pm CT on one of 101.5 FM, Channel 718 on MTS TV, or via UMFM.com!

If you're using an Apple device, the player doesn't seem to like Safari yet, so if you want to stream the show I'd recommend Radio Garden to do that as it works nicely with Safari. If you're more of an app person, we recommend you use the TuneIn app found on the App Store or Google Play Store. If you do use the TuneIn app, you won't be disappointed. It's a solid app.
