The Hockey Show's world while playing for another school, we'll also meet a woman who has done some incredible stuff while representing her hometown and her home province! Get ready for a fun chat tonight as we meet two great players from a team we affectionately call "the Lakeshow"!
Teebz sits down with two members of the OUA's Nipissing Lakers, the ninth-ranked team in the nation, as he welcomes goaltender Chloe Marshall back to the show and meets defender Madison Laberge! These two have been integral parts of Nipissing's success, and we'll get the 411 on why they've been so good. Teebz chats with Madison about growing up in Val Thérèse, a town 20 minutes north of Sudbury where she learned to play hockey, was a star in another sport, moving to Whitby for a year, finding success in Sudbury with the Lady Wolves, winning a gold medal, hosting an Esso Cup, and more! After having learned a little about Madison, the two players talk about playing for head coach Darren Turcotte, the demise of the Laurentian Voyageurs, playing alongside FISU-selected teammates Katelyn Heppner and Maria Dominico, a new recruit headed for Nipissing, and much more! Where's the best place can you hear tonight's show if you're outside Winnipeg or not near a radio, you ask? The
new UMFM website's online streaming player is pretty awesome if you want to listen online. If you're using an Apple device, the player doesn't seem to like Safari yet, so if you want to stream the show I'd recommend
